Jack Welch, MD, one of the first anesthesiologists to practice in eastern North Carolina, moved to Greenville in 1971 to begin practice at Pitt County Memorial Hospital. Dr. Jack Welch, Dr. Juliet Song and Dr. Clark Bright were the founding partners in Pitt County Anesthesia Associates, which incorporated in 1978. Pitt County Anesthesia Associates recently reorganized into East Carolina Asesthesia Associates, PLLC. Since '78, the practice has grown to 20 anesthesiologists, all of whom have completed residency and fellowship training from nationally and internationally recognized programs from across our nation.
